Audit log for AI agents

See everything your AI agents access

When a client, a partner or your own curiosity asks “what did the agent see?”, you should have an answer that isn’t a guess.

The short answer

An AI agent audit log records who asked for what, when, and whether it was allowed. MoltenRock writes one on your Mac: every grant you change, every time an agent unlocks a key or reads a mailbox, and every denial. MoltenRock Connect adds the proposals your agents file and the decisions you made. The log stays local; nothing is sent to a MoltenRock server.

The problem

Agents act fast and leave little behind

  • No trail
Most agent setups call APIs directly with a shared key, so the platform’s log shows one key, not which agent or why.
  • No attribution
Several agents on one key look identical. You can’t tell the helpful one from the misbehaving one.
  • Found out too late
Without a record, the first sign of a problem is a customer email.

How MoltenRock handles it

A record per agent, on your Mac

  • Every access
Unlocks, reads and resolves, with the agent that asked and the time.
  • Every denial
Requests you didn’t allow are logged too: the early warning you want.
  • Every proposal
In MoltenRock Connect, each proposal keeps its reason, what the agent read, your decision and the result.

How it works

Using the log

  1. 01
    Open Activity
The Activity view lists recent events, newest first.
  2. 02
    Read it by agent
Each entry names the agent, the secret or mailbox, and the time.
  3. 03
    Act on it
Remove a key from an agent, or unpair it to revoke everything at once.

Straight answer

What the log covers

Stays on your Mac

  • The log itself, on your Mac
  • Grants, unlocks, denials and Connect proposals
  • Which agent did what, and when

Leaves your Mac

  • Nothing to MoltenRock
  • Platforms keep their own logs of the calls Connect makes
  • The log can’t see what an agent does outside MoltenRock

Questions

What people ask first

Is the log available on the free plan?

Activity is always recorded. On the free plan the view is blurred; MoltenRock Pro shows it in full.

Can I export it for a client?

The Activity view is on your Mac. Share what you need from it; there is no cloud dashboard that holds a copy.

Does it log what the AI model saw?

It logs what MoltenRock released or read for the agent. What the agent then sends to its model is up to the agent and its model provider.

Does MoltenRock Connect keep its own record?

Yes. Each proposal keeps its reason, the data it was based on, your decision and the result.
